What we store when you reserve a name
- Your email address and the handle you chose; for an organization also its name, its website and, if you upload one, its logo.
- When you reserved and when you confirmed, and your founding number.
- If you reserve from someone's share link (wridder.com/u/…), whose link it was.
- A country: the one you pick, or if you don't, the one Cloudflare derives from your connection. We don't store your IP address.
We use them only for your reservation: to send the confirmation email and, once you've confirmed, your founding number and generation, to hold your handle, and to tell you when you can claim it. No newsletter, no advertising, no sale of data. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps you asked for before a contract).
What is public
Confirmed handles appear on the founding walls on this site, with their founding number and country (the home page's wall is a world map), and organizations' logos with them. Your email address, and an organization's name and website, are never shown.
How long we keep it
Unconfirmed reservations are deleted after 24 hours. Confirmed ones are kept until you leave the founding list (every email we send after you've confirmed has a link for that) or until Wridder launches: then you can claim your handle with your account. Reservations not claimed within 6 months of launch are deleted.
Service providers
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) hosts this page and its database, sends our emails and runs Turnstile, the check that you're human. Turnstile only loads once you start filling in a form; for it, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and bound by a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). To deliver and protect the page, Cloudflare processes IP addresses in short-lived logs.
This page sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to its use, and receive it in a portable format: write to support@wridder.com. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
