Reservation terms
Reserving
Reserving a name is free and commits you to nothing. One email address can hold one personal reservation and one organization reservation. A reservation counts once you confirm it from the email.
Your handle
Your handle is reserved while you remain on the founding list. Handles follow Wridder's rules: 3–30 letters, digits, "_" or "-". We may release or hide a handle that is offensive, impersonates someone, or infringes someone else's rights, such as a trademark. Organizations may be asked to verify themselves before launch.
Organizations
Organizations reserve with an email address at their website's domain; personal email providers aren't accepted. A logo must be the organization's own. We may remove a logo that isn't, or that is offensive.
Removing reservations
We may remove a handle or an organization from the founding list at any time and without notice if the handle, the logo, or the person or organization behind it promotes or supports illegal activity, racism, antisemitism, hate or discrimination against people for who they are, violence, terrorism or extremism, harassment, or the sexual exploitation of anyone, minors in particular. We decide whether that is the case.
Removing a reservation deletes it along with its founding number, its founding generation and any founding benefits. We may also block the handle so it can't be reserved again.
Founding numbers and generations
Founding numbers follow the order of confirmation. Every confirmed organization becomes a Founding Organization.
When you confirm, you're placed in a founding generation by the order of confirmation; the last generation stays open until Wridder launches. The home page shows the generations and their places. People and organizations are counted apart. Founding members receive lifetime benefits, better in earlier generations; we'll announce them before launch. Founding benefits are yours to use or not: holding them commits you to nothing, and you're under no obligation to buy or use anything once Wridder launches. Your generation stays with your reservation. If you leave the founding list and come back later, you're placed anew. Each organization gets one founding generation: the first confirmed reservation at its website's domain.
Leaving
Every email we send after you've confirmed has a link to leave the founding list. Leaving deletes your reservation and your email address; if you come back, you get a new number.
Changes
We may change these terms or end the founding list. If that affects your reservation, we tell you by email.
